About Us

County Plumbing & Heating was founded in 1980 by Jim West with a simple goal: to serve the people of Cook County with honest, quality work and dependable service. In 2000, Jim’s son, Tim Goettl, purchased the business and proudly carried that tradition forward — growing it into a trusted name locals know and rely on.

A master plumber with nearly four decades of hands-on experience, Tim leads a close-knit crew of hardworking professionals. Together, they combine old-school values with modern expertise, delivering reliable service across homes, cabins, and businesses throughout Cook County.

In 2024, the family homestead on the Caribou Trail became available, giving Tim and Tanya the opportunity to bring the business back to where it all began. It’s a full-circle moment — honoring Jim and Kathy’s legacy while continuing to build a future rooted in family, community, and tradition.
